1. Greek Mythology: A member of a nation of women warriors reputed to have lived in Scythia
2. often amazon: A tall, aggressive, strong-willed woman.
For our purposes:
Conservative Amazon n.
1. A woman who fights for conservative principles and sends her enemies into fits of terror with her blood-curdling battle cry: “For low taxes and family values! For Reagan!”
